Today's feature is Jazmeen Ryals-Sumter '25M, a Jersey City, N.J. native in her first year in the Â鶹ӳ»­ Master of Social Work program.

New Jersey native Eryn Glover ’25 is no stranger to accomplishments at Â鶹ӳ»­. Now, the Business Administration major has another experience to add to her resume after she was selected to serve as a project coordinator/administrative assistant for one of the world’s leading tech companies, Apple.

Today's feature is Karinaelizabeth A. Calimee '24, a San Diego native who grew up in California and Las Vegas, Nev. and is a student in the Bachelor of Social Work program.

The CIAA Tournament 2024 was held at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, February 26 – March 3, 2024. We wanted to find out how Â鶹ӳ»­ President, Dr. Valerie Kinloch and Chairman Steven Boyd reflected on the experience this year.Ìý

Today's feature is Bria Lindsay '25, a Bridgeport, Conn. native in the Bachelor of Social Work program.

​Danaria Gorham ’24 originally wanted to pursue a career in social work, but when she took a reporting course at Â鶹ӳ»­, she fell in love with journalism. Now, the soon-to-be graduate and Woodbridge, Va. native has earned the opportunity to further her love for storytelling through an internship with National Geographic this summer.

Gratitude extends to Bank of America, which allowed students in the College of Business and Professional Studies (CBPS) to tour the bank’s headquarters in Charlotte on March 5.

The CIAA Basketball Tournament on Thursday, Feb. 29 centered on women: powerful, purposeful, strong and centered. The day began with a burst of optimism at the CIAA Women's Empowerment Luncheon and ended, for the Golden Bulls, on the court.

Â鶹ӳ»­ closed out Black History Month this year with a performance and discussion at a Lyceum event on leap day.Ìý

The event in Sara Gambrell Auditorium in Biddle Hall brought back several talented alumni who came to entertain and educate Â鶹ӳ»­ students.Ìý

It's a balance of athletics and education at the CIAA Tournament in Baltimore. When they're not at the CFG Stadium cheering on the Golden Bulls, the brigade of student leaders, including the SGA, Mister and Miss Â鶹ӳ»­ and the royal court - along with Admissions and Student Affairs staff - are inspiring young, bright high school students with dreams of going to college, possibly Â鶹ӳ»­! If the energy atÌýCollege Education Day at the Baltimore Convention Center is any indication of the interest level among Baltimore high school students, Â鶹ӳ»­ can expect a flood of new applicants for the 2024-25 school year.
