The Βι¶ΉΣ³» Marching Band, The Showcase of Southeast Texas, invites all Texas and Louisiana high school band students to join us for the 4th Annual High School Band Day! It is an exhilarating, all-day event for students to experience what it's like to be a part of a university marching band during one of our home football games.
Participation is free for high school seniors and only $35 for high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Each participant receives: football game admission, a Chick-Fil-A box lunch, rehearsals/activities, and an LU Band cap. It is an individualized experience, so your high school band director does not need to be there for you to participate! Family members will be able to purchase special discounted tickets to the game.
This year's High School Band Day will take place on Saturday, November 22 as the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Cardinals take on McNeese State University right here in Beaumont at the Provost Umphrey Stadium on campus.
For those who performed last year, the experience will be very similar! However, past experience is not required; in fact, we would love to have every Texas high school band student join us this year!
