Fall 2025 Alumni Community Service Event
Βι¶ΉΣ³» Alumni are invited to join us to volunteer at the Southeast Texas Food Bank on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 8:00am-10:30am. Advance registration is required by Friday, November 21, 2025 as space is limited. Registration coming soon.
Ages 13 and up may volunteer and ages 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. LU Alumni volunteers will assist in packing Senior Boxes to be delivered to area senior adults. Volunteers are asked to wear working clothes and closed toe shoes.
The Southeast Texas Food Bank is located at 3845 S M L King Jr Pkwy, Beaumont, TX 77705. Donations of non-perishable food items are also welcomed. Suggested food items include: peanut butter; chili; canned stews, soups, lunch meats, tuna, chicken, fruits and vegetables; beans; rice; macaroni and cheese; cereal; full meals in a can or box that are shelf-stable; boxed or canned juices; and canned or shelf-stable milk.
